The full form of ITI is "Industrial Training Institute" which is called "Industrial Training Institute". ITI is an institute run by the Ministry of Labor and Planning of the Indian Government where students are trained to work in the industry.
There are many types of trades in ITIs such as - refrigeration, electrical, machinery, telecom, etc. and the duration of these courses is determined according to these trades. Some courses are of 1-year duration and some courses are of 2 years.
How to get admission in ITI?
It is very important for a person to have at least 10th pass to get admission in ITI. However, there are some colleges which also give admission to the eighth pass people. You have to take the exam to get into ITI. Merit takes place after the exam and students get admission only on the basis of merit. If admission is not available in a government college, then you can take admission in private also. To get admission in ITI, the age of the candidate should be between 14 to 40 years. ITI forms are released in the month of July, these forms come out at the same time when the 10th result comes.
What is taught in ITI -
In ITI, the emphasis is on practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge. Here people are given proper training to work in the industry so that the person can get a direct job after doing ITI.
There are many courses like fashion designing, health care, skincare for girls in which practical knowledge is also given to girls.

Expenses and salary in doing ITI
Students who bring a good number in ITI exam get admission in government college where there is no fee of any kind. Students who are not able to get admission in government, they take admission in private college, where there are 10 to 30 thousand fees.
Talking of salary, after doing ITI, a person gets 5 to 10 thousand jobs comfortably. Since the person doing ITI has more practical knowledge, the possibility of getting the job early increases.
